Michelle Perry
Clinical Staff
Michelle Perry moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, California, in 2008, along with her son John who is 14 years old, and her pets. She went to college at Cerritos College, in Cerritos, Calif., where she obtained her dental assisting certificate. Later she obtained her registered dental assistant license from Dental Board of California Committee on Dental Auxiliaries (COMDA). Michelle has 20 years of experience in the dental field; 14 of those years have been in dental academia. She is a licensed dental assistant in the State of California as well as a state board examiner for registered dental assistant licensure.
Prior to joining the University of Southern Nevada College of Dental Medicine, Michelle worked at University of Southern California where she gained experience in craniofacial pathologies. She has worked with Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in cone beam CT technology (CBCT) for cleft palate cases, also with the Oral Medicine Department doing 3-D imaging along with research for osteonecrosis of the jaw. She has contributed in research for implant planning, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) and Sleep Apnea. She received an award in 1997 for employee of the year in the radiology department at USC.
Michelle is looking forward to settling in Southern Nevada to further her education and contribute to the local dental community.

Lore Loiacono
Administrative Assistant to the Dean
Lore is the Administrative Assistant to the Dean at the College of Dental Medicine. Prior to working at the University of Southern Nevada, Lore was an Administrative Assistant to three directors in the finance department at the Nevada Cancer Institute. Previously she supported the Chief Financial Officer and later the Vice President of Finance for Meridias Capital as Executive Assistant.
Born and raised in Chicago, Lore and her family moved to Henderson four years ago to escape the brutal Midwest winters. She does get frequent visits from family back home, especially during the winter months!
Before moving to Henderson, Lore had an extensive background in the commercial/industrial real estate industry working for an industrial real estate broker for eight years. She also received her real estate license in order to help the broker handle industrial and commercial real estate transactions as well as helping family and friends find new homes.
In her free time Lore enjoys spending time with her husband, Joe, and her children, Anthony and Adriana. She also enjoys walking her dogs, Lexi (Beagle) and Dakota (Shiba Inu), playing soccer, skiing, cooking, watching her son play high school/club/indoor soccer and her daughter Adriana play soccer and volleyball.

Krysha Watts
Clinical Staff
Krysha Watts is a part of the clinical staff for the College of Dental Medicine. Prior to joining the University of Southern Nevada, Krysha worked as treatment coordinator for a private practice orthodontist. She has worked in the dental field for 11 years and held the positions of office manager/dental assistant, orthodontic assistant and scheduling coordinator.
Born and raised in Texas, Krysha and her husband, Tim, moved to Las Vegas four years ago. Krysha is a huge sports fan, especially baseball and basketball. Her favorite teams are the Arizona Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox. In her spare time Krysha enjoys reading, watching sports, visiting her family in Texas, and especially spending time with her husband and baby boy, Hudsen.

Dana Pachar
Clinic Manager
Dana is the Clinic Manager at the College of Dental Medicine, responsible for the daily operation of the college's Orthodontic clinic.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Tex. Once completing her education she began her employment in the dental profession and has never looked back. She has dedicated her entire employment career to operating, managing and consulting private dental and orthodontic practices.
Before joining the University of Southern Nevada she lived and worked internationally in Doha, Qatar. Dana was employed with Aspetar Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility that was initially built for the 2006 Asian Games. Today, the hospital continues to provide private healthcare services for international athletes using the latest medical technology for orthopedic sports injuries and rehabilitation. She was the office coordinator for the dental department, which treated athletes from all over the world.
Dana was born and raised in Texas but looks forward to making her home in the desert southwest with her Shih Tzu and companion, Chancellor. She enjoys hiking, skiing, fishing, traveling and staying in touch with family and friends.

Candace Butler
Clinical Staff
Candace joined USN's College of Dental Medicine in September 2009 as part of its clinical staff, operating the front desk at the college's Orthodontic Clinic. There she is responsible for patient scheduling, insurance verification and processing and billing.
A Texas native, Candace has more than a decade of experience working in the front office of private dental and orthodontic practices, including serving as an assistant manager.
While not working, Candace enjoys Southern Nevada's vast outdoor activities. Now living in a mountainous region, she looks forward to trying new sports, such as snowboarding.
Candace is also a fan of baseball, particularly the Texas Rangers.

Ruth Paz
Clinical Staff
Ruth joined USN's College of Dental Medicine in 2009 as part of its clinical staff. She plays a critical role in ensuring all patients receive a high-quality and pleasant orthodontic treatment experience.
Before joining USN, Ruth practiced odontology in her native Mexico for 12 years. During the past seven years, she served as a general dentist and orthodontist at a community center in Mexico City. She relocated to the Las Vegas Valley in 2007.
Ruth is a graduate of the Autonoma National University of Mexico as a surgeon dentist, with a specialty in orthodontics. She is married to Jesus and has a son, Misael, and daughter, Yaretzi. On weekends, Ruth enjoys cooking and spending quality time with friends and family. When she can, Ruth enjoys visiting the beautiful beaches of Veracruz and Cancun, Mexico.
